European consumers searching for an affordable hot hatch will soon be able to add one more car to their list as Renault today took the wraps off the long-awaited Twingo RenaultSport (RS for short). Inspired from the Twingo Concept that was unveiled at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, the Twingo RS car slots into the Renaultsport range alongside its bigger sister cars, Clio and Megane RS. Apart from the relatively aggressive bodykit that includes wide fenders, new front and rear bumpers along with larger alloy-rims, the Twingo RS also features a new 1.6-liter engine delivering 133 HP along with various chassis refinements (suspension, brakes etc.). Unfortunately, that’s all Renault decided to share with us for the time being.
