Our spy photographers also managed to snap a few shots of the compact SUV's interior which was totally uncovered. The 2010 Tuscon's dashboard has been completely overhauled with the center console featuring a similar design to that of the i30 hatchback.
Developed on Hyundai's compact architecture, the Tuscon will share the same platform with the forthcoming Kia Sportage. Like the current model, the new Tuscon will be offered in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions.
Hyundai's new proposal in the compact SUV segment will feature a revamped petrol engine line-up. In Europe and other selected markets the Tuscon will also be available with Hyundai's newly developed 4-cylinder turbo diesel that will be offered in two versions with 2.0- and 2.2-liters displacement and outputs of 184HP and 200HP respectively. Both diesel units will be matted to either a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
