The store offers a variety of models dating from the 1970s onwards, with Mercedes vowing that all available cars are in first-class condition. We visited the company's dedicated website that has all sorts of cars including a 1991 example of the Porsche-co-developed 500E that's up for sale for €23,500. Mercedes-Benz Young-Classics Store: Buy or Rent 1970-1990 Models
Parent company Daimler has opened its first "Mercedes-Benz Young Classics Store" as a pilot project in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart offering customers the chance to buy, rent, insure and even finance fully restored models in production during the period from 1970 to around 1990. With this pilot project, Daimler wants to close the gap between new vehicle sales and the highly specialized classic car business of the "Mercedes-Benz Classic Center" in Germany and the USA.
